ProAgent Glass
A desktop app that runs locally and hooks into any AI agent framework (CrewAI, AutoGen, MCP servers) to capture full execution traces—thought chains, tool calls, API responses, token usage. Provides a visual timeline of reasoning, flags hallucinations or loops, and suggests cutoff points. All data stays on-device, unlike cloud-only observability tools.
Target Audience
Individual developers building autonomous agents for internal automations (data entry, customer support bots) on their Mac/Linux, who currently litter their code with print statements and guess why agents fail because existing tools require cloud or complex setup.
Why Now
Dev.to posts 'I got tired of not knowing what my AI agents were doing, so I built a tiny observability tool' and 'Building an AI Agent That Knows When Not to Guess' directly describe this frustration. GitHub trending 'cua' (agent framework) and PH 'AgentX' show the agent tooling wave, but none offer a local-first privacy-respecting solution.
