A CI/CD integration that analyzes every PR, detects AI-sourced code blocks via a trained model, and grades their maintainability: flags duplicated logic, missing error handling, hardcoded secrets, and verbose patterns. Suggests equivalent human-style refactors and generates the refactored code snippet. Acts like a senior engineer reviewing AI-authored code.
Target Audience
Engineering managers at startups where 40%+ of new code is AI-authored and code review bandwidth is thin. They currently accept AI PRs that later cause production incidents because no one had time to deep-review them.
Why Now
Dev.to 'Every AI-Generated Line of Code Is a Small Loan — And Eventually, You Have to Pay It Back', Lobsters 'Reviewing AI Code Is Not A Viable Argument', and Dev.to 'I Could Review It. I Couldn’t Write It.' all this week. The 'code-review-graph' GitHub trending repo also hints at visualizing review quality.
